Our World

In a world with so much movement and noise, sometimes we need a place to rest our hearts and minds. This is that place. Here is where we process. We unite to pray about the things that weigh heavy in our hearts.

So many of us have gone through quite a bit in life and as for me, I have learned things the hard way. I have come through stupid mistakes, bad ideas, rebellion, pain, loss, betrayal, sadness, isolation, rejection, anger, anxiousness and so on.

But now, I am learning to seek first the kingdom of God and all of His righteousness; then everything that I need will be added to my life.

The Kingdom

When Jesus spent time on earth, He kept talking about the kingdom of God. Now I am learning that I find His kingdom by following Jesus. In this kingdom, I have encountered love and forgiveness, the healing of my broken spirit, and breathtaking moments of joy. I have also found myself on a narrow path. It is a hard path to follow and even though I have challenges; life has become an amazing journey.

The Invite

I invite you to journey with me as we collectively pour our hearts into His hands. We can unite and with one voice, talk to God. Then we can watch God teach us, use us, and encourage us as we encourage each other.

Dear Heavenly Father, we want to come together and unite our hearts before you in your name. We want to give you our troubles and our lives. We ask you to forgive and heal us. We ask you to fill us with your wisdom, love and joy. We ask you to let us walk with you and guide us through this life. Thank you so much. Together, we ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
